George had a rewarding career as a senior executive in the Canadian government, leading several large organizations. He has always been drawn to the imaginative worlds of science fiction and fantasy. These genres provided a much-needed escape from the demands of his high-pressure roles.

After leaving the Canadian government, Da Pont was inspired to write his first novel, “Dangerous Misfit”, book 1 of “The 6th Enhancement” series.  It combines the wonder and inspiration of science fiction with tough real-life issues where choices are not always evident or easy, and the consequences can be unpredictable.
